Halacha Shiur with Rabbi Rapoport
The Three Weeks is an annual mourning period that falls out in the summer. This is when we mourn the destruction of the Temple and our launch into a still-ongoing exile. The 3 weeks start on the 17th of the Hebrew month of Taamuz which marks the day of the breach of the second temple by the Romans. It concludes with the fast on the 9th of the Hebrew month of Av which marks the date when both of the holy temples were set in flames.
There are various mourning laws and customs that are observed during these 3 weeks.
Join Chabad House of Hendon as we learn and discuss the laws and customs of the 3 weeks with Rabbi Chaim Rapoport.
Tea and refreshments will be served
